Description

A stunning french 19th century louis xv st. Four-drawer kingwood, tulipwood and ormolu commode. The bombe shaped commode is raised on short cabriole legs decorated by ormolu masculine masks above scrolled mounts. The scrolled shaped frieze is accented with a central cast ormolu mount. The wide drawers and sides have a quarter veneer tulipwood inlay bordered by kingwood. Each drawer has a central keyhole flanked by richly chased ormolu handles and mounts. H 32 in. X w 25 in. X d 53 in. H 81.28 cm x w 63.5 cm x d 134.62 cm
