German lighting manufacturer Glashütte Limburg was established by Dr. Walter Heinrich in 1947 when he started a glass company. Following World War II, the company was initially part state owned and employed immigrants from the east. During the 1950s through the 1970s, Glashutte Limburg became known for their quality lighting and design. This particular piece has been fully rewired with 3 ft of chain and 9 ft of wire with a medium base socket that can hold up to 150 watts.This piece measures 15″ tall and 13″ wide with 3 ft of brass chain and 9 ft of bronze wire.
